Bed & Bike Prachatice is an ideal starting point for sightseeing tourism in the Region of Šumavsko, which includes Prachaticko, Vimpersko, Volarsko and the South part of Šumava. The center of the region is the Renaissance town Prachatice inseparable from the legendary "Goldener Steig" ancient road, where the salt was transported from Passau to Bohemia.

Cycling routes will take you to nearby ponds, Šumava forests and lookout towers, inc. the National Park and the Šumava Protected Landscape Area. The South Bohemian Foothills will attract your attention to an interesting rustic architecture (Jakub Bursa's Peasant Baroque), technical and historical sights (Museum of Rural Life of Předslavice, Jewish synagogue of Čkyně, Alpine architecture in Volary, etc.) and traditions (Trout Tank Mills or non-traditional loom house).
